A calm and quiet dining café chigusa faces a dry garden with pleasing bright light. It is an oasis to start the beginning of a day in a relaxed manner. For breakfast, you can chose a Japanese or Western menu with carefully selected ingredients. We will ask your preference for breakfast at a front desk upon your check-in. Serving individually, not a buffet style.

French Cuisine Mill Herbs
French Cuisine Mille Herbes opened in 1986 to offer for our guests to casually enjoy authentic French menus. The sophisticated interior was designed by Takahiro Otsuka, a designer, and harmonizes with carefully selected contemporary artworks throughout the restaurant. We deliver you a special moment with our French menus which our chefs prepare in traditional cooking technique to enrich the essential flavors of seasonal ingredients.

Japanese Restaurant Kappou Nishimura
Our traditional skills and a sense of taste has been inherited over more than 100 years. The host chef, Hiroshi Nishimura, has experiences in many of the first class Japanese cuisine restaurants and hotels. Nishimura received a public recognition as “a skillful expert in Kitakyushu” in 2006 and was awarded from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Japanese government. By enriching seasonal ingredients with Japanese sake, Hiroshi Nishimura, the skillful expert, offers for you sophisticated menus on a counter-table in a calm and comfortable atmosphere.

Dining Cafe Chigusa
A dry garden in a terrace located in our courtyard and a white based mural by Keita Egami, an artist who received the highest award at Bangladesh Asia Art Biennale, create sophisticated space. From breakfast to dinner, also cafe time, dining café chigusa is a casual all-day dining flexibly serving you various menus including our traditional Western menus and Japanese food among others.
